Studio visit at Stephen Albair’s art studio

Today I had the honor to visit and photograph tableau artist Stephen Albair. We had a fun photoshoot where I took some portraits and documented an artist at work.

Fun mixed media project

A month ago I took up the challenge and participated in Amy Souza’s April Postcard Exchange.
I have wanted to work on some collages for a while and just be pure playful this was my chance ;P
Here are 4 cards that I finished and mailed this Saturday. Perhaps this is just the start.. 😉

The Cataclysmic Megashear Ranch
by Mauricia Gandara, Edited by Lisa Pimentel, Photos by Pernilla Persson & Ranch Archival
“The Cataclysmic Megashear Ranch, or simply the Ranch, started as a live-work space in the late 90’s in the heart of San Francisco’s Bayview neighborhood. In 2000, the Ranch reopened its doors as a collective and an art studio. Since then, countless artists, makers, writers, performers, musicians, and other creative engineers buildt the Ranch into a one-of-a-kind, irreplacable community.”
